Does Sky Claims connect directly to MSP Teleplan?

Yes. Sky Claims is a registered Teleplan vendor. We connect to teleplan.hnet.bc.ca over TLS 1.3 using your assigned Data Centre ID and payee number. Claims are transmitted in real time — no batch files, no SFTP scripts.

Where is my patient data stored?

All data is hosted in Canada on AWS in the ca-central-1 (Montreal) region. PHI is encrypted at rest with AES-256 and in transit with TLS 1.3. Sky Claims is fully compliant with PIPA BC and PIPEDA. No data ever crosses the US border.

Which professions and payment models do you support?

Every MSP-billing profession in BC — physicians (GP and specialist), optometrists, dentists, oral & maxillofacial surgeons, midwives, podiatrists, and nurse practitioners. All payment models are first-class: MSP fee-for-service, LFP direct care, MSP-covered optometric exams (children under 19, seniors 65+), dental surgical and accident codes, midwifery care, ICBC, and WorkSafeBC. The new claim flow swaps the fee code library and required fields based on your profession automatically.

Can I migrate from my existing billing software?

Yes. We provide free migration for new customers — bring your existing claim history (CSV, Excel, or direct export from most major BC billing platforms) and we'll import it into Sky Claims, preserving claim IDs, dates, and amounts. Most migrations take under an hour.

Is there a mobile app?

Sky Claims is a web app, so it works in any modern browser on Mac, Windows, iPad, or phone — no app store install required. The interface is fully responsive and we've tested it extensively on iPad, which is what most physicians use bedside.

What about audit retention and security?

Every action in Sky Claims is logged immutably and retained for 7 years per PIPA BC requirements. Two-factor authentication is required for all accounts, the Teleplan password rotates automatically every 42 days, and we'll provide a SOC 2 Type II report on request.

How do I cancel?

Sign in, go to Settings → Billing, click Cancel. No phone calls, no win-back scripts, no hidden cancellation fees. Your data export is one click away — Sky Claims believes in full data portability.
